Senior Residential Support Worker – April Court

Salary: £10.81 to £12.17 per hour plus enhancements

April Court is a 17 bedroomed residential home that cares for people with learning disabilities. It is situated in the Kinson area which is around 5 miles away from Bournemouth town centre.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting our clients to lead fulfilling lives through a person-centred approach.
• Providing high-quality care and support, centred around each client’s needs.
• Ensuring that individual care plans are developed, implemented and monitored.
• Coordinating and leading support staff in the provision of personal care.
• Working to required standards to comply with CQC guidelines.
• The ability to work flexibly across the week, including days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

The successful candidate should have:

• Experience of working in the care sector.
• Knowledge of relevant Community Care and Safeguarding legislation .
• Awareness of Health & Safety.
• Effective communication skills
• Competent IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Care or a willingness to achieve this.
