Care Assistants – Sidney Gale House

Salary: £9.79 to £10.19 per hour plus enhancements

Sidney Gale House offers accommodation to 35 clients in a residential setting. It is situated just outside of Bridport town centre.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting clients with personal care, nutrition and hydration.
• Complying with Health and Safety requirements in respect of moving and assisting and the use of equipment.
• Maintaining dignity, privacy and respect for our clients.
• Flexibility to cover various shifts including days, evenings and alternate weekends.

The successful candidate should have:

• The ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Empathy with the needs of the clients.
• IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• NVQ Level 2 in Direct Care or willingness to achieve this.
