Plus Services support people with complex needs. Our staff are experts in their field and provide services in a safe environment in which people can move around freely and where they have access to specialist equipment and facilities. Activities are specifically designed for people with complex needs, and staff are trained in positive communication and support techniques.
Our staff also offer friendly, professional help with practical tasks such as personal care, eating and drinking. Healthy and appetising meals are available, including a wide choice of foods to meet dietary requirements.
All services have accessible facilities to suit all needs and are registered for Changing Places facilities.
We welcome clients who receive financial support from their local council and those who are privately funding their care and support. Hourly rates for flexible packages of care and support are available on request.
Our staff teams are experienced and access ongoing training which enables them to deliver high quality services. Training includes moving and assisting; safeguarding; first aid and medication; dementia validation; dementia and challenging behaviour; total communication and intensive interaction; supporting people with long term health conditions (for example diabetes; epilepsy; stroke). Specialised training is undertaken as required to support the complex and changing needs of clients. Our staff are passionate and enthusiastic about ensuring that our clients are having a good day and enabling them to be as independent as possible and to lead full lives.
We offer opportunities for people to become volunteers. We really value their support.
Our volunteers offer as much or as little of their time as they wish and are involved in ‘behind the scenes’ activities such as administration or organising outings or events; assist with meal service or activities such as arts and crafts or music appreciation; or simply come and spend time and have a chat with our clients. Every hour offered is greatly appreciated. Please contact us as noted below or contact a service local to you for more information.
