As part of our shared commitment to provide meaningful representation to clients, carers and families, Tricuro and the Family Carers Representation Project (of Dorset Advocacy) have been working closely to support and empower clients, carers and their families to influence, critique and help shape the care and support services that they receive now, and in the future.

This was most recently demonstrated throughout February – March 2022, where Tricuro, in collaboration with the Family Carers Representation Project, supported clients, carers and families to provide their thoughts and opinions on remotely delivered sessions, via the use of Zoom.

Sini Lucas – said “For the BCP Family Carers Representation Project (Managed by Dorset Advocacy), having partnership working with Tricuro (among other providers) is clearly for the benefit of Carers, Families and those they care for.  It was both exciting and informative to see how Tricuro’s Digital Team supported both, their clients and family carers, to ensure they were appropriately supported to share their views and experiences. The team offered various times, days, and methods to ensure fair access to the consultations. As Carers Representation Coordinator, I was able to be there to offer an impartial observation of how the consultations were carried out, as well as an opportunity for Carers to raise any issues that may have arisen during the consultations. I look forward to continued partnership working with Tricuro to enable more opportunities for Carers to be heard. ”
