The reasoning behind this decision is Dorset Council’s alone and we wish them well in their endeavours in what is a hugely challenging time.
Councillor Karen Rampton, Portfolio Holder for People and Homes, BCP Council, said: “We remain fully committed to continuing the good care services that Tricuro provide for the residents of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. I would also like to thank the dedicated staff who continue to provide high standards of care to all of our residents.”
“By collaborating with Tricuro, we have new opportunities to expand and develop services to provide the best care possible for our residents and local communities in line with the council’s plans to transform and modernise our services.”
“I would like to offer assurance to both Tricuro staff across the BCP area and our residents who receive care that they will see no change, and care services will continue to be delivered as normal.”
Dorset Council have set up a website page to support people who use service, families and carers, on their decision. To find out more please visit: www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/w/about-care-dorset
