Tricuro is here to be your home when you are unable to stay in your own, for whatever reason; a real home from home. Our highly skilled care staff are on hand to help you settle in making you feel reassured and safe. If you need additional support to remain in your current home, Tricuro can help with the support you need.
Supporting individuals to live independently in their own home
We offer a range of supported living and outreach support to help people with a variety of needs to live as independently as possible. We can help you to build the confidence and life skills you need to realise your potential for independent living, and work with you towards achieving personal goals at your own pace. As your needs change, the level of support you receive from us can be adapted to match.
Specialist Home Care
Helping people stay independent
If you have had an illness, accident, just come home from hospital or are becoming frail, you might find it difficult to look after yourself. You might not feel strong enough to cope or you may simply have lost confidence. Our Reablement, Intermediate Care, and Mobile Nights services can help you to stay independent. Eligibility criteria applies to these services.
We can offer you an alternative and highly flexible form of accommodation and/or care or support inside or outside a carer’s home. The care and accommodation you would receive is provided by ordinary individuals, couples or families in the local community, and is called Shared Lives.
In these days of financial restraints and with a growing older population we have to look at ways we can continue to deliver our services and how we can develop them in the future. Tricuro will give us the freedom to be as adaptable and flexible as those who currently operate in the private sector whilst at the same time ensuring we are able to fulfil our commitment to providing care to those who need it.
Cllr Blair Crawford, Bournemouth’s Cabinet member for Adult Social Care
We have been looking for ways to work more closely with our colleagues in Bournemouth and Poole, and Tricuro represents a fantastic opportunity for all three authorities to transform the way they deliver social care to people across the county. By combining our high quality services and excellent staff, we can create a sustainable organisation that provides better value for money and will benefit all service users and carers across Dorset by offering greater choice and control.
Cllr Jill Haynes, Dorset County Council’s Cabinet member for Adult Social Care
The creation of Tricuro offers us an exciting opportunity to work in partnership to help improve the way social care services are delivered. I look forward to working alongside colleagues to move this forward following the approval by Council.
Cllr Karen Rampton, Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Adult Social Care, Borough of Poole
